This gap creates a major opportunity for AI. Used well, AI can detect suspicious patterns earlier, identify anomalies in real time and trigger faster interventions before losses escalate. Banks can also use AI to personalize scam education, tailor warnings to different customer needs and support more responsive recovery journeys when an incident occurs.
